DP: Depression and sadness are not the same

Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death by suicide has led to several conversations about mental health and depression. Deepika Padukone, who has battled depression, has been sharing a series of notes on social media. While earlier she shared, “Repeat after me: Depression is an illness ‘like any other illness.-DP”, this time the actress posted the depression is not the same as sadness. “Feeling depressed is not the same as feeling sad,” Deepika posted on Twitter.
